Ideological work at the educational institution «The Academy of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus» is organised in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of the 25.05.2006 No. 344 «On the approval of Regulations on the organisation of ideological work at state bodies of the system of safeguarding of security and in the organs of prosecution» and normative legal acts of the Interior Ministry.
Ideological work at the Academy is a joint purposeful activity of chief executives of all levels, of the staff, cadets, students and public associations for the purpose of realisation of the policy of the Belarusian state in the sphere of ideology.
The main purpose of ideological work at the Academy is cultivation of fundamental values, ideas and views reflecting the essence of the Belarusian statehood in cadets, the staff and civil personnel, the formation of their active civil and personal attitude towards combating crime, safeguarding of legal rights and interests of citizens, and also growth of prestige of service, image and social status of the officer of organs of internal affairs.
Ideological work with permanent and variable staff is done in the following main directions:
1. Educative activity;
2. Informational and propagandistic activity;
3. Social and legal activity;
4. Social and cultural activity;
5. Strengthening of service discipline;
6. Psychological work.
