BRSM (Belarusian republican youth union) of the Academy of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.
The primary organisation of the public association «BRSM» with powers of the district committee of the Academy of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus implements its activity in several directions.
Firstly, it tries to raise the level of national, civil and patriotic self-consciousness and behaviour of youth.
Secondly, it creates conditions for realisation of the educational, creative, spiritual and moral potential and for the stimulation of innovative activity of youth, socially important initiatives, socially useful activity of the younger generation.
Thirdly, it contributes to the growth of business activity of the youth, to the development of skills of inter-personal communication, of leadership qualities, and active personal and social attitude, to the broadening of the sphere of professional training.
It contributes to the perfection of the system of prevention of different forms of deviant behaviour and asocial phenomena in the youth environment.
It perfects the system of popularisation of physical culture and sport, of a healthy life style.
It organises free time, popularises amateur kinds of sport, youth tourism and summer recreation.
It develops the movement of a voluntary formation «Kind heart» among the youth and widens the scope of its activity.
Activists of BRSM of the Academy of the Interior Ministry are one of the organisers and initiators of holding many international youth projects, contests and concerts. Cadets of the Academy of the Interior Ministry take part in the main events of the Belarusian republican youth union (“Make your choice!” and others).
Today BRSM of the Academy of the Interior Ministry counts more than 1700 cadets. Primary organisations work at the faculty of militia, the faculty of investigators and the faculty of corrections.
